Trexio
Last updated: 21.09.2026
Effective date: 21.09.2026
1. Who these terms are between
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and:
Izoli Data AG
Ittigenstrasse 17
3063 Ittigen
Switzerland
Commercial register / UID: CHE-225.767.165
Represented by: Serhad Erdogan
Email: info@raw-animal.shop
Phone: +41 78 813 90 93
Izoli Data AG ("Izoli Data", "we", "us", "our") operates the mobile application Trexio, previously published as "Raw Animal App" ("the App" or "the Service").
By downloading, creating an account in, or using the App, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.
2. Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms as the App develops or the law changes.
If a change is material — for example a change to subscription terms, to the licence you grant us, or to our liability — we will notify you in the App or by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you do not agree, you may terminate your account before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the App after that date means you accept the amended Terms.
Non-material changes, such as corrections and clarifications, take effect when published.
3. Who may use Trexio
You may use the App only if you are 16 years of age or older.
We ask for your date of birth on registration and refuse accounts where the stated age is below 16. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement, that the information you give us is accurate, and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live but at least 16, you confirm that your parent or guardian has consented to your use of the App.
You may not use the App if you are barred from doing so under any applicable law, or if we have previously terminated your account.
4. Your account
You need an account to use Trexio. You can register directly or sign in through Google, Apple or Facebook.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at info@raw-animal.shop if you believe your account has been compromised.
Keep your account information accurate and current. Accounts are personal — you may not share, sell, transfer or licence your account to anyone else.
5. What Trexio does
Trexio is a food diary and nutrition tracking application. It lets you record what you eat, scan barcodes and nutrition labels, and follow calories, macronutrients and — in the paid version — micronutrients and advanced nutritional analyses.
The App is offered in two versions:
Trexio Free includes the food diary, calorie and macronutrient tracking, the barcode scanner, and scanning of nutrition labels on packaging.
Trexio Pro is a paid subscription that adds AI-based analysis of meal photographs, micronutrient tracking, and advanced nutrient analyses.
The exact scope of each version is described in the App and in the app store listing, and may change over time in accordance with Section 11.
6. Trexio Pro: subscriptions, billing and cancellation
6.1 How purchases work
Trexio Pro is sold exclusively as an in-app purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status, but the payment itself is processed by Apple or Google.
This means:
- Your purchase is also subject to Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions or the Google Play Terms of Service, as applicable.
- We never receive or store your payment card details.
- Billing, receipts, payment disputes and refunds are handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
6.2 Prices and terms
Current prices, subscription periods and any introductory or trial offers are shown in the App and in the app store before you confirm your purchase. We do not restate them here so that this document remains accurate when prices change.
We may change prices for future billing periods. Where required, Apple or Google will notify you and obtain your consent before charging a changed price. Price changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
6.3 Automatic renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel beforehand. The exact renewal terms are displayed at the point of purchase.
6.4 Cancelling
You may cancel at any time. Cancellation is done through your app store account settings — in the App Store under your Apple Account subscriptions, or in Google Play under subscriptions. We cannot cancel a subscription on your behalf; the app stores do not give us that ability.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep access to Trexio Pro until then. We do not refund the unused part of a period you have already paid for, except where required by law or where Apple or Google grant a refund under their own policies.
6.5 Refunds and statutory withdrawal rights
Refund requests go to Apple or Google under their respective policies. We have no power to issue refunds for in-app purchases.
If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with a statutory right of withdrawal for digital content, that right applies. Note that in many of these jurisdictions the right is lost once performance has begun with your express consent and acknowledgement — the app stores build this step into the purchase flow. Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory right you have that cannot be waived.
7. Your licence to use the App
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, for as long as you comply with these Terms.
You may not:
- copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of the App;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the App, or attempt to derive its source code, except to the extent this cannot lawfully be restricted;
- rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense or otherwise make the App available to third parties;
- remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notices;
- access the App through automated means, or scrape, extract or bulk-download its content or nutritional database;
- use the App or its outputs to build a competing product or to train a competing model;
- circumvent paywalls, usage limits or security measures.
This licence ends automatically if you breach these Terms or delete your account.
8. Your content, and the rights you give us
8.1 What belongs to you
You retain ownership of the content you enter into the App — your food diary entries, photographs, body measurements, lab values and other information ("Your Content").
8.2 The licence you grant us
To operate the Service, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process and transmit Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service to you. This licence exists only so that the App can function; it ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to Section 8.3.
8.3 Use of anonymised data to improve our models
You additionally grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use Your Content in anonymised and aggregated form to develop, train, test and improve our food recognition systems, nutritional calculations and the Service generally.
Three limits on this, which we commit to:
- It covers photographs and food logging data only. It does not cover your biometric data, lab values or other health values you enter, which we do not use for model improvement.
- The data is anonymised, meaning identifiers are removed so it can no longer be linked to you.
- We do not sell Your Content, and we do not licence it to third parties for their own independent purposes.
Because anonymised data is no longer personal data, this licence survives deletion of your account. This use is a standard part of the Service and cannot be switched off. If you are not comfortable with it, do not use the App.
8.4 Photographs and third-party AI processing
Photographs you submit for analysis are transmitted to a third-party AI provider, and that provider may use them to train its own models. This is explained in full in Section 7 of our Privacy Policy. Please read it before using the photo features, and do not photograph faces, documents or anything else you would not want retained.
8.5 Your responsibility for your content
You confirm that you have the right to submit Your Content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law. Do not upload photographs of other people without their consent.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the App for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law or regulation;
- upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that violates someone else's privacy;
- interfere with, disrupt or place unreasonable load on the App or its infrastructure;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or connected systems;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems without our prior written consent;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- submit deliberately false data in order to manipulate the Service or its outputs.
We may investigate suspected breaches and take appropriate action, including suspending or terminating your account.
10. Accuracy of nutritional information — important
Trexio calculates nutritional values from public food databases, principally USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts, from data read off product packaging, and from AI-based estimates of meal photographs.
You should understand that:
- Database entries may be incomplete, outdated or wrong. Open Food Facts in particular is a community-maintained database that we do not control.
- Barcode and label scanning depend on the legibility of the packaging and may misread values.
- AI analysis of meal photographs produces estimates, not measurements. Portion sizes, ingredients and preparation methods are inferred and will sometimes be wrong, occasionally substantially.
- Advanced analyses (polyunsaturated fat intake, calcium-to-phosphorus ratio, amino acid balance, and comparisons against temperature and pulse) are derived from the above and inherit any inaccuracy in the underlying data.
We do not warrant that any nutritional value, calculation or analysis shown in the App is accurate or complete. Always check values that matter to you, and correct entries where they look wrong.
11. Changes to the Service
We may add, change, restrict or discontinue features at any time, and may move features between the free and paid versions as the product develops.
If we materially reduce the functionality of Trexio Pro during a period you have paid for, you may cancel and request a pro-rata refund for the remainder of that period through the relevant app store, and we will support that request.
We may discontinue the Service entirely. If we do, we will give you at least 60 days' notice, allow you to export your data, and stop charging subscriptions from the announcement.
12. Availability
We aim to keep Trexio available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or because of faults in infrastructure operated by third parties.
The App requires an internet connection and a compatible device for most functions. We are not responsible for your device, your operating system version, or your network connection.
13. Health disclaimer
Trexio is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
The App is a nutrition tracking tool. Its calculations, analyses, targets and any recommendations it displays are informational only, are based on general nutritional data and on the information you enter, and are not tailored medical guidance.
In particular:
- Trexio does not diagnose nutrient deficiencies or any other medical condition.
- Nothing in the App should be read as a recommendation to take, avoid or change any medication, supplement or treatment.
- The App is not designed for, and should not be relied upon by, people managing a medical condition through diet without professional supervision.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise, and particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition such as diabetes or an eating disorder, take prescription medication, or are managing the nutrition of a child.
If you have or suspect a medical problem, contact a healthcare professional. Do not delay seeking advice because of something you read in the App. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.
You use Trexio at your own risk and remain responsible for your own dietary decisions.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any result obtained through the App will be accurate or reliable.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted, and you may have additional rights.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
15.1 We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, however caused and on any theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
15.2 Our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App is limited to the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for Trexio Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) CHF 50.
If you use Trexio Free and have paid nothing, our liability is limited to CHF 50.
15.3 What is not excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
- unlawful intent or gross negligence, which cannot be excluded in advance under Article 100 of the Swiss Code of Obligations;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
- any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15.4 Consumers. If you are a consumer, you may have mandatory statutory rights in your country of residence that these limitations cannot override. Nothing here affects those rights.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Izoli Data AG, its directors and employees, from any claim, demand, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the App, or content you submit that infringes the rights of others.
This does not apply to the extent the claim arises from our own breach, negligence or wrongdoing.
17. Intellectual property
The App, its software, design, user interface, text, graphics, logos, the name "Trexio", our compiled nutritional data, and our recognition models are owned by Izoli Data AG or its licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.
These Terms grant you a licence to use the App. They transfer no ownership. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Third-party data used in the App — including USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts — remains subject to its own licence terms, and is attributed within the App where required.
Feedback. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely and without obligation or compensation to you.
18. Third-party services
The App relies on services operated by third parties, including the app stores, authentication providers, hosting providers and AI providers. These are listed in our Privacy Policy.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability, or their terms. Your use of them may be subject to their own agreements with you.
19. Termination
By you. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time, directly in the App. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription — cancel that separately through your app store, as described in Section 6.4.
By us. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use poses a risk to the Service or to other users. Except where the breach is serious or unlawful, we will give you notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy it.
If we terminate your account without cause while you hold a paid subscription, we will support a pro-rata refund request for the unused portion.
On termination, your licence ends and you must stop using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Sections 8.3, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 21 — continue to apply.
20. Data protection
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy at [PRIVACY POLICY URL], which forms part of these Terms.
Please read it, particularly Section 7 on how meal and label photographs are processed by a third-party AI provider.
21. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
The place of jurisdiction is Ittigen, Switzerland (competent court: Regionalgericht Bern-Mittelland).
Consumers. If you are a consumer, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence, and it does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law gives you that right.
EU online dispute resolution. The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
22. Apple App Store — additional terms
This section applies if you obtained the App from the Apple App Store. It is required by Apple and prevails over any conflicting provision elsewhere in these Terms.
- These Terms are between you and Izoli Data AG only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
- The licence in Section 7 is limited to use of the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms of Service.
- Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
- If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation of any kind, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
- We, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement and discharge of any third-party claim that the App infringes intellectual property rights.
- You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a US Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you.
23. Google Play — additional terms
This section applies if you obtained the App from Google Play.
- These Terms are between you and Izoli Data AG only, not with Google. Google is not responsible for the App or its content.
- Your use of the App is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
- Google has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App.
- Purchases, billing and refunds are handled by Google under its own policies.
24. General
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its intended commercial effect.
No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms. We may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, provided your rights are not reduced.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any terms displayed at the point of purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App, and replace any prior agreement on the same subject.
Language. These Terms are drawn up in English. If we provide a translation and the versions conflict, the English version prevails, unless mandatory law in your country provides otherwise.
Force majeure. We are not liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, labour disputes, governmental action, and failures of internet or third-party infrastructure.
